Duceram Plus® metal-ceramics are a further development
of Duceram metal-ceramics which have been proven clinically
and aesthetically since 1985 in everyday use in laboratories.
Apart from such properties as:
Uncritical
when applied to all high fusing alloys with coefficients
of thermal expansion of 13.8 - 15.4 ľm/mˇK due to linearized
thermal expansion.
Will not discolour when applied to low price, high silver-content
alloys.
Due to their low sinter point, they can be combined with
phosphate bonded die materials for fabricating inlays.
All batches are of constant quality due to the continuous
quality assurance checks.
DUCERAM® LFC Porcelain
Compatible with most conventional porcelain, Duceram®
LFC fuses at a low temperature of 1235 °F - 1250 °F (668
°C - 676 °C). Fire LFC onto a thin coping or a layer of
conventional porcelain. Return the restoration to the
master model for completion and fire on a soft sagger
tray. There is no need for additional models.
Duceram®
LFC maintains its stablity after repeated firings. Its
superior strength over conventional porcelains makes this
product an asset in any laboratory. Margins, glazed crowns
and post-soldered connections may be adjusted quidkly
and easily.
Duceram®
LFC material is a special dental ceramic with an extremely
low firing temperature.
Depending
on the type of furnace used, Duceram LFC is fired at approximately
660°C.
The
TEC (25-500°C) of the LFC material corresponds to that
of Duceram metal ceramic which means that both materials
are compatible.
Duceram
LFC® fulfills all requirements as set out in the DIN
and ISO standards.
Some
properties of LFC even exceed those of common dental ceramic
materials.
LFC
is a patented revolutionary system. Duceram LFC® material
has surprisingly high density and thus excellent surface
structure, extremely good light dispersion and transparancy
which make for fascinating vitality and brilliance of
the ceramic. In addition, Duceram LFC® is not affected
by multiple fiirings.

KISS
Nothing is easier than to make things complicated. Nothing
is more difficult than to make things simple. Simplicity,
not complexity, is the true path to progress.
Ten
years ago, we successfully took the first major step towards
simplification with the GoldenGate System. Suddenly it
was possible to meet all the different demands, functional
and aesthetic, within a single system. But things can
get simpler still. Our most recent development, Duceragold
KISS, reduces the number of porcelain powders by almost
half.
Therefore
now you need only 73 ceramic powders. Duceragold KISS
sets new standards in functionality. And if you thought
that this can only work at the expense of beauty, you
will be pleasantly surprised by a greater elevated level
of shade reliability. But how is it possible to reduce
the number of different ceramic powders by almost 50%
from the usual 110-120, without sacrificing quality?
Using
the following 3 solutions:
First of all, with new pigmentation of the dentine and
opaque powders. In this way the need for intensifiers
when layering basic V-Shades is eliminated, except in
individual cases.
Secondly, by categorising intensifiers and incisal powders
more specifically.
The third point is the development of a new kind of didactics,
which intelligently combines shades, effects and materials.
